GATE Internship seminar
The first GATE internship seminar was held online on 18th September 2020. The aim of this seminar was though a series of presentations to give students from the GATE internship program an opportunity to share their current research findings in the field of data management, machine learning, 3D city modeling and simulation.
The students, working on 3D city modeling and simulation, have an additional mentorship from researchers in Digital Twin Cities Centre at Chalmers. They presented visualization of 3D building with Unreal Engine and wind simulation.
The desired outcome of the seminar was successfully achieved – the students shown valuable results, and new direction for further work were identified.
