GATE nominated for outstanding achievements
GATE - Big Data for Smart Society project has been nominated by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science to receive a Certificate for achievements in raising the international prestige of Bulgaria within the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme.
The certificate will be handed over to the GATE team at an official ceremony during a forum dedicated to the next research and innovation Framework Programme Horizon Europe 2021-2027, which is going to be held on 6th March 2020, at the University of Economy in Varna.
The event will be attended by the Bulgarian EU Commissioner for Digital Economy and Digital Society Maria Gabriel, the Member of the European Parliament Emil Radev, Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev, Deputy Minister of Education Karina Angelieva, Members of Parliament, representatives of the central and local authorities, academia, non-governmental organizations, students, and business representatives.
A total of 21 Bulgarian organisations received nominations and will be awarded Certificates for achievements in Horizon 2020 projects and for a significant contribution to capacity building and Bulgarian participation in the EU Research and Innovation Framework Programme.
